It was recommended by several people during the meeting that we use sorbent traps to verify that our mercury generators are producing the indicated concentration. Can you post a procedure for doing this and recommend a lab or labs that can test the traps?

Thermo recommends one to two sorbent trap samples directly from the 81i calibrator in accordance with the procedures outlined in EPA draft method 30B. There are many testers and laboratories that can provide this service. Thermo has used: Platt Environmental, Frontier Geosciences, and Shaw Group.
